The Guizhou Panxian-Xingyi Expressway (Panxian-Tieshan Section) is a highly challenging mountainous expressway construction project. Its uniqueness lies in the extremely complex geological conditions along the project. Coal-measure strata landslides are widely distributed, and karst caves in rocks are significantly developed. The route also needs to pass through coal mine goaf areas and face the construction difficulties of high-gas tunnels. Facing these severe challenges, the project team has successfully created this model work of mountainous expressway design with outstanding design wisdom and construction technology.
Innovation Points
1. Innovative Design under Complex Geological Conditions
In response to complex geological problems such as coal-measure strata landslides and karst caves in rocks, the project team adopted advanced geological exploration technologies and numerical simulation methods to accurately identify geological risk points and innovatively proposed a variety of reinforcement and protection design schemes to ensure the stability and safety of the subgrade and tunnels.
2.Special treatment of coal mine goaf areas and high-gas tunnels:
Facing the problem of unstable foundation caused by the coal mine goaf area, the project adopted advanced grouting reinforcement and monitoring technologies to effectively improve the bearing capacity of the foundation. At the same time, for the high-gas tunnel, the team developed an intelligent ventilation and gas monitoring system to ensure safety during construction and operation.
3.Design concept of environmental protection and sustainable development:
In the project design, the team fully considered the requirements of environmental protection and sustainable development, adopted environmentally friendly construction methods and materials, and strived to reduce the damage to the ecological environment along the line, realizing the harmonious coexistence of highway construction and the natural environment.
